FIBC Bags

U-PANEL FIBC

U-PANEL FIBC

U-Panel bulk bags (FIBC) have one (1) continuous piece of fabric for a side, bottom, and opposite side panel creating a “U” shape. The remaining sides and top panel are then sewn in to construct the bag. U-Panel bags are an industry standard and provide a great mix of stack-ability, strength, and affordability.

CIRCULAR / TUBULAR FIBC

CIRCULAR / TUBULAR FIBC

A Circular or Tubular bag is woven into a cylinder or tube and cut to the correct size. The most common construction type is a circular fabric on the body with a sewn square base. As there are no seams in this construction, this creates for a more aesthetically pleasing bag, and with only a top and bottom panel sewn into the bag, they are ideal for fine and hydroscopic materials. The tubular body design is also ideal as a liner-less option for fine materials and is recognized for its ease of lifting and manipulating with a forklift.

FOUR-PANEL FIBC

FOUR-PANEL FIBC

It is the original polypropylene design, Four-Panel Bulk Bags (FIBCs) have seams along four separate pieces of fabric that are sewn together to construct the body of the bag as well as having the top and bottom panels sewn in. Four-Panel bags tend to hold their shape better than other types of bags and are better suited for stacking.

CONICAL FIBC

CONICAL FIBC

The Conical Bag is designed specifically to assist in the complete discharge of contents, which are slightly sticky, like brown sugar and premix flour products. The conical shape at the bottom of the bag ensures that the bulk bag can be discharged quickly and easily.

SINGLE AND DOUBLE LOOP FIBC

SINGLE AND DOUBLE LOOP FIBC

Also called as Fertilizer bags, Single and Double Loop FIBC are cost effective bulk-handling solutions suitable for companies handling larger volumes, demanding high output capacity. These big-bags are mostly used for fertilizer, fish feed, cement, seed, chemicals, minerals, etc. Single and two loop FIBCs are generally made using circular polypropylene fabric (PP). They are less complicated and more economical in comparison to a four loop FIBC. These bags are different in construction compared to that of a standard four loop FIBC. The body-fabric of the bag itself is formed into a lifting loop which gives the bag a higher breaking strength and makes the FIBC easier to lift. The top lifting point/s of the bag are generally wrapped with sleeves. Two Loop bags are generally required when greater access is needed whilst filling the bag. Once the bag has been filled to the required SWL ( Safe Working Load ) the two loops must then be tied together for lifting as a single loop FIBC.

TUNNEL LIFT FIBC

TUNNEL LIFT FIBC

Tunnel loops are two continuous tunnels along the side of the FIBC (big bag/jumbo bag). These are easy for one person to pick up and can therefore save labour. For some filling and discharging systems, the forklift truck driver can lift up the FIBC and place it into the filling or discharging system without having to get out of the truck. In addition, this may reduce your pallet usage. And also 4 side lift loops are also available for your different choices. The unique design of Tunnel lift bags with 4 standard loops and 2 side tunnels helps the customer in reducing its labor cost.

Baffle FIBC / Form-stable FIBC / Q-Bag

Baffle FIBC / Form-stable FIBC / Q-Bag

A Baffle FIBC ( also known as Form-stable FIBC or Q-Bag ) is a form-stable big bag fitted with an internal structure (baffles). These baffles ensure that the Q-Bag will remain stable after filling with minimum bulging, which means that the FIBC stays within the pallet dimensions and guarantees an optimum load for any type of transport. This type of big bag saves space during transport because of its stable construction. They cut down on storage space and also transportation costs get reduced by up to 30% as compared to standard FIBC. A standard bag is flexible in nature and can bulge at the sides when filled losing its square shape. Baffles are extra fabric panels or pieces of string sewn into each of the bag’s four corners. This reinforcement allows the bag to better hold its square shape when filled making them easier to store side by side or stack Similar to most specialized bags the need for baffles depends on your product and application. Typically, baffled FIBC are often used for finer materials in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Their reinforced structure makes them a better fit where better handling and safety are paramount. Baffled bag advantages include: Baffle bulk bags are ideal if you have limited space in sea containers or on trucks. Baffles keep the bulk bag square and free from bulging over the pallet. Baffle Bags are constructed with corner baffles to maintain their cubic form once they are filled. The corner baffles are made to allow the material to flow smoothly into all the corners, yet preventing the bag from expanding in the process. Since the shape of the bag is cubic, baffle bags require less storage space and cut down the transportation costs up to 30% compared to the regular big bags. Most of soybean, corn, barley growers uses baffle bags which allows the bag to stand straight. These bags remain very tight, standing straight and erect, so they are easy to handle and look more organized.

Ventilated FIBC

Ventilated FIBC

Ventilated FIBC are bags with breathable strips that allow circulation of air. These bags are useful for products that require breathing flow when packed, such as fruits and vegetables. These bags are used mainly for the packaging, transportation or storage of potatoes, onions, beans, grains, nuts or similar products. These bags are breathable, protective and very strong.

UN FIBC

UN FIBC

UN bags are special type of FIBCs that are used for transportation of dangerous goods. The UN bags are designed and tested in accordance with the recommendations laid down in the “United Nations Recommendation on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (Orange Book)”. The transportation of hazardous goods is regulated worldwide by a team of experts from the United Nations. They have established directives to prevent accidents, injuries and damage to property; protect public health and prevent pollution. All the UN Certified FIBC must have UN mark on them. The appearance of this mark is described in the Orange Book. The marking has to be durable, legible and readily visible. Letters, symbols and numbers shall be at least 12 mm high.

Type A, B & C FIBC

Type A, B & C FIBC

Type A FIBC are made of plain-woven polypropylene and other non-conductive fabrics. There is no static protection provided by Type A FIBC. They can be used to safely transport non-flammable products. Type B FIBC are also made of non-conductive material but with a low breakdown voltage, which prevents highly energetic propagating brush discharges. They are safe for dry, flammable powders. Type C FIBC, also known as conductive FIBC, are made from non-conductive fabrics interwoven with conducting threads. These threads must be electrically interconnected and grounded during filling and discharging, dissipating electrostatic charge safely.
